A crew is a group that keeps turning up to the same thing. You don't make one and look for people; it grows out of plans that went well.

The five steps a crew grows through

An explanation of the steps, not a crew you are in. You are not on any of them yet.

  1. InterestedEnough people say a thing sounds good. Nobody's name shows, and nothing is committed.
  2. Plan formingThere are enough of you for it to happen. The details firm up.
  3. ConfirmedIt's on. The people in it can sort out the logistics between themselves.
  4. AttendedPeople actually turned up. That is the part that counts, and the only part that carries forward.
  5. ReconnectedSome of you want to do it again. Go back often enough with the same people and a crew is what you have.

Each step needs the one before it, and none of them run yet.

There are no crews to join yet. They start from a plan people actually turn up to.

Start with a plan

A crew belongs to the people in it. There is no list of members here, nobody's attendance is shown, and nobody can be searched for.
